Sand Creek ran on our ranch, the Lost Sand Creek Site, in Cheyenne County, Colorado in June. It was the biggest it ran on this part of Sand Creek since the 1965 flood. Videos of the creek running at its widest are linked at the bottom of this blog.
The creek receded significantly but continued to run at the end of June. Joe Harbert took drone video of it on June 30. See the video below. As you can see in the video, there are no changes to the creek after it ran, and the creek ran slowly.
