Check out this video of drone footage of Sand Creek running in Cheyenne County by Joe Harbert. The creek ran about 10 feet wide on Sunday, June 18. By the next day, it was over 150 feet wide in parts. On Wednesday, June 21, the creek was still running wide, but wasn’t running as wide which can be seen in the video below.

Wow! Is it too soon to tell if there is any damage to historic ground being done by the high water, or are you hoping more artifacts may be revealed by the movement of sand?
Hi Ava, thanks for your comment. The creek actually runs slowly so there aren’t any changes after it runs. There were no changes after the ‘65 flood.
